Ijaza Program
Program Description
The Quran Certification “Ijaza” program is offering the following;
- The Quran Memorization Certification “Hifz Ijaza”: which is offered to those who have memorized the entire Quran and would like to be certified. — To acquire the certification “Ijaza”, the student should pass an extensive oral exam in Hifz and Tajweed.
- Tajweed Certification “Ijaza”: which is offered to those who have mastered the art of Tajweed following one of the known Tajweed legacy texts such as [تحفة الأطفال/Tuhfat-ul-Atfaal] , [“مقدمة إبن الجزري/Muqadimat Ibnul-Jazariyah] and [السلسبيل الشافي/ Al-Salsabeel AlShafee] — For the certification, “ijaza” in any of the mentioned texts, the student should be able to successfully pass the exam in the following three areas:
- Memorizing the Arabic text
- Understanding it and
- Practicing it.
How did we start?
On 2009, Dr. Ahmed Taha (MAS-UC) received his Ijaza Ceritificates in Quran memorization and Tajweed from the honorable Sheikh Abdelatif Madkour (Al-Azhar, Egypt). To view these Ijazat, click here.
Services Provided
Since 2010 and through the Quran Institute of MAS-UC, Ahmed Taha started providing such professional Ijaza Certificates in both Quran Hifz and Tajweed through volunteering efforts.
